We are a manufacturer of high-quality PA6 and PA66 polyamide yarns with the amber content which are used, amongst other things, in the medical sector.
The type and characteristics of polyamide yarns made by Stilon:
- fibre type: smooth FDY, textured DTY, twisted TWY, spun WKB;
- cross section: RD, TR;
- effect/shine: shiny BR, semi-matt SD, matt FD;
- colour: raw white and black, integrally coloured and bobbin coloured, colours according to the client's request);
- thickness range: 20 -300 dtex (available all the time), other yarn thickness values – on individual orders;
- application: hosiery, flat and round knitting;
- intended use: production of tights, socks and underwear, medical products (bandages), overcoats and sports clothing, upholstery.
Types of fibres produced using the PA6 polyamide:
- FDY smooth fibres (PA6 FDY catalogue) thickness from 20 to 300 dtex, with a round cross section or triangular, shiny, semi-matt and matt; wound on metal copses;
- textured fibres (PA6 DTY catalogue) produced using the friction method from 20 to 300 dtex, on paper coils;
- twisted fibres (PA6 TWY catalogue): smooth, with a standard twist 90-400 twists per metre or textured 90-120 twists per metre, wound on paper coils;
- spun fibres (PA6_WKB catalogue) smooth or textured, wound on warp shafts, intended for flat knitting.
Types of fibres produced using the PA66 polyamide:
- FDY smooth and spun fibres (PA6 FDY catalogue) thickness from 20 to -300 dtex, with a round cross section or triangular, shiny, semi-matt and matt; wound on metal copses, paper coils or warp shafts;
- TWY textured fibres (PA66 DTY catalogue) produced using the friction method from 20 to -300 dtex, on paper coils;
- spun fibres (PA66_WKB catalogue) smooth or textured, wound on warp shafts, intended for flat knitting.
We are capable of fulfilling even the most challenging orders. All polyamide yarns, depending on the client's needs, can occur in two versions: joined (IN) and non-joined (IO).
